An Easy Yoga Pose to Relieve Stress at Work

Ever find yourself staring at your computer screen for a few minutes and wondering what you should be working on?

I’ve been there.

Maintaining our focus and having sustained energy throughout the day can be an uphill battle, especially with all those digital distractions and never ending workloads.

If you’re looking for a single pose that can relax your mind, soothe your nerves and stretch your body look no further.

The Standing Forward Bend Against a Wall

Find an open wall in a conference room or take a five minute break to walk around outside.

  • Stand with your feet outer hip width apart 12-16 inches in front of a wall.
  • Bend your knees, place your butt on the wall, and fold forward from your hips.
  • Let your torso hang over your bent legs and release the head.
  • Interlace your fingers above your pelvis, stretch your arms forward away from the wall and breathe 8 smooth breaths.
